Your baby is spoiled if:

This is how you cooked dinner tonight. RJ in the bjorn chewing on a cold teether while I cut radishes with the other hand. Not an easy job. Oh, and I'm cooking at my parents house because our air was out for the third time this summer. We need a new AC unit, but I'm pulling for a new house.

Good News

First: I quit my job. Sure did. Full time worker and full time mommy is for the birds! So as of this Friday, I have no job. Not necessarily a good thing for the bank account, but a really good thing for me and Ruby-duby. If you talk to Ko, you can reasssure him that I'm on the look-out for a part-time job. He acts like he's worried I won't find one(or maybe worried that I don't want to find one). But I will, I promise.

On a serious note, this week will be bittersweet. I love my job. I'm not quitting because I don't like what I do. The patients that I work with are very special to me. They are very special kids with very special needs. I'm going to miss them and their families immensely! The good news is that my boss is going to keep me on her payroll so that I can fill in when needed so I'm not gone for good.

Second bit of good news: I got a new camera!!! What, what!!! I got a digital SLR and can't wait to learn how to use it. I'm not looking to become your next wedding/kid photographer extraordinaire, I just want to take good pics of my little one (and those to come). Here's the first shot after the battery charged, there will be many more!
Is she cute or what? Too bad she's not cute AND a good sleeper. And because of that I'm headed to bed at 9:00. Night!

Chattanooga Weekend

Since I've gone back to work, updating the blog hasn't been priority. I spend all of my time at home playing with our sweet little girl. She's getting so big and doing so much now! She'll be 4 months old next week and has become so interactive lately! She's cooing, playing with toys, laughing and even rolling over!

This weekend we went to Chattanooga for Korey's cousin Ben's wedding. While we were there we made rounds introducing Ruby to Korey's extended family. It was so special for her to meet her two great-grandmothers, great aunts and uncles and cousins. She also got to meet Kate and Carson Royal and can't wait to meet baby Royal in a few weeks!
"Ruby Red Card" in her rehearsal dinner dress. Her Daddy calls her that in hopes that one day she'll be a fierce soccer player.
Meeting her Mam-ma for the first time. To our surprise, she laid on Mam-ma's chest and just smiled and talked to her. So sweet!

Next we went to Korey's Uncle Mickey and Aunt Candice's house. They just adopted Anna from China and we hadnt' met her yet. Anna and Olivia loved baby Ruby!

Then we went to visit with Granny.

After a good nap, we went to the wedding. All Mam-ma wanted to do was hold Ruby.

Nana gave Zoe and Ruby these dresses for Christmas and they finally grew into them. When you're little it's ok to show up to a wedding in the same dress as someone else.

Kay and her boys

I love this picture! It was an attempt to get all 7 great grandchildren in a picture with Mam-ma. This is about as good as it gets.They-re all there-you just have to look really close. (L-R) Chase, Ruby, Cooper, Luke, Tyler, Cian and Zoe.
